Eight-year-old Jim is grappling with the recent divorce of his parents. His life is turned upside down when he’s kidnapped by the flamboyant pirate Captain Freely and taken on a high-seas adventure.As Captain Freely battles her rival, the English navy’s Captain McGovern, Jim finds himself caught between two worlds. His only way home—a magical treasure chest—is in the hands of the enemy. It’s love at first sight for spirited Rosalind and frustrated wrestler-turned-poet Orlando, but when the Duke banishes Rosalind from court, Orlando must brave the vast and mysterious Forest of Arden to bring her home. But Rosalind, disguised as a boy, is enjoying her adventures too much to go home just yet – especially when she might just find her long-lost father in the forest’s depths. Can Orlando’s truly awful poetry lead her back to love? Will Rosalind’s father reclaim his rightful dukedom?
